I am Heidi McConnell and I have been an English teacher for over 30 years and I have sponsored a wide variety of extracurricular activities during that time. I have a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education/English, a Master's degree in English and American Literatures and a second Master's in Reading. I sincerely enjoy the challenge of teaching a diverse group of students and I was recently honored as 2016 Canutillo Secondary Teacher of the Year. Northwest Early College High School is an outstanding group of brilliant, compassionate team players and I am proud to be a part of it.
