AP Physics 1

AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2 were developed by the College Board to replace Physics B in 2014. 

According to the AP website:

AP Physics 1 is an algebra-based, introductory college-level physics course. Students cultivate their understanding of Physics throughinquiry-based investigations as they explore topics such as Newtonianmechanics (including rotational motion); work, energy, and power;mechanical wavesand sound; and introductory, simple circuits.

The text for this course is an online text from OpenStax. You can locate the textbook online HERE. It is a free download.  We will also be utilizing the PhET interactive simulations for Science and Math from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  These can be accessed HERE.
